1. Why should you have a video tour of your property or business and services?

Whatever you are promoting, presentation is everything! Enhance the presentation and generate more business. What better way to present your property, business or service than having an online video accessible around the world?

2.What equipments would you need to shoot the video of your property?

A Camcorder ( analogue or digital,recording to tape,cartridge or DVD) OR a Digital still camera (which has a short video function)

3. How should you shoot the video of your property?

Make a short video of the property.Keep it under 5 minutes. Below are some tips that would help you shoot your video successfully.

Tips on shooting your video

You don't need to be a professional to shoot a successful property video. Follow these simple tips and you won't go far wrong.

• Outside - start by filming the outside of the property. Pan up the street to the property to show its location in relation to its neighbors and surroundings. Film any views that the property enjoys.
• Main Rooms - shoot across larger rooms panning from one side to the other and back again. Pan slowly. We can always speed it up if the pan is too slow.
• Smaller Rooms - if you are not using a wide-angle lens consider panning up and down the room (i.e. from floor to ceiling and back again).
• Order - take each shot in the order you want them in the final video (i.e. outside front, living room, dining room, kitchen, bedrooms, bathroom, outside rear).
• Angles - where possible film each room from more than one position. This will give our staff viewing options when editing the video.
• Lighting - where possible be careful to keep bright sunlight behind you. Filming into a sunlit window will make the rest of the room look dark. Switch on room lighting wherever you can.
• Keeping Steady - if you're not using a tripod lean against the wall or door-frame while filming. This will help to keep your camera steady.
• Zoom - if you want to use your zoom feature start with the close-up and zoom out to show the whole room.
• Editing - limit your filming to no more than 5 minutes. Our editing staff will edit the video to a maximum of 2 minutes. When panning start and finish beyond the points you really need. This will enable our editing staff to create smooth dissolves or fades from one shot to another. The same with static shots - shoot for 2 seconds more than you think you need.

4. What do I do after I have made the video of the property?

Go to the FORMS section on NPLSonline.com and fill out a videotour request form and send to us. The video tour request form will be delivered to videotours@nplsonline.com. We will withjn 12-24 hours of the receipt of your request send you a payment advice e-mail with instructions and links information of how to upload the video on line to our editing team.

5. What will nplsonline.com do with the video of the property I send to them?

Within 3-5 working days of the receipt of your video our editing team will

1. Convert your video to a web friendly format to enable internet viewers to see it
2. Edit the video down to approximately 2 minutes duration retaining the integrity of the video while removing any substandard shots
   
3. Create bleeds and shots between pictures for a proffessional look (& add music if requested)
   
4. Upload finished video to our nplsonline.com reserved server
5. Generate a "search friendly web page" containing your video and your description.
6. Add the link to your listing on NPLSonline.com
7. Notify you of the link to the video so that you can add it to your website ( if you have one) and also notify other people of it.
   

6. How much does this cost?

N15,000 per property.

This covers everything we will do detailed in 5 above as well as keep the video hosted on our server to be viewed by the public on line for 120 days.

You will recieve reminders by e-mail prior to the expiry date giving you an oppurtunity to extend the for additional periods of 90 days. Cost of each additional 90 days period is N5,000.

7. What if I cannot or do not want to video my property by myself?

Our Professional Video tours services:

If you don't possess a camcorder, or just don't have the time to shoot a video yourself, our experienced camera crews will do it for you within 2 working days of your order.

Areas Covered: Service currently available in Lagos state. We hope to extent to other states as soon as we are able to train more video graphers to shoot to the quality and standard we are sure you would be proud of.

Security: If you have particular items you do not wish to be shown on the video these can be blurred out if required.
